Why We Built Projects Insight Edge – Lack of A Comprehensive Overview of All Jira Projects with Relevant KPIs

Jira users often struggle with fragmented project data, lacking a Jira project report that consolidates key performance indicators (KPIs) across all projects. While Jira provides a list of all accessible projects, it lacks detailed insights into critical data such as issue counts, user access, and project status. 

We created Project Insight Edge to eliminate that hassle and provide a comprehensive overview of health, status, and progress across all Jira projects. Many users resort to manually creating complex filters and dashboards to extract this information. 

Recognizing the need for an out-of-the-box solution, we set out to create an app that aggregates data from all Jira projects into a single, comprehensive report.   3. Start the Installation: Click on Try it free to start a free trial of the app.
  4. Install the App: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process. Once installed, a confirmation message will appear, indicating that the app has been added to your Jira instance.
  5. Post-Installation Configuration: There is no mandatory post-installation configuration for Projects Insight Edge. However, you can check the admin settings page for settings you can apply there. Based on your preferences and the environment you are working in, you can define permissions, metrics thresholds, and scheduled analysis intervals there.
